How can our Lifestyle Design Community help you?

My goal is connecting filmmakers to their audiences, by arming filmmakers with the arsenal needed for a killer DIY direct to fan film marketing campaign. I am still learning about this stuff myself but in my opinion I think the key is to is adopting a systems/outsourcing approach from the start. All of the content, advice, and resources on my site will revolve around making this the prime motivator for everything you do in your endeavors from this moment forward. (site currently undergoing renovations)

I’m in the process of designing my business so the all of the core systems are managed and run by my virtual staff whether I am at the helm or not. This allows me to spend the majority or my time on creating content for my site or on other interests such as studying filmmaking and practicing golf.

Our site is currently undergoing renovations, please gives us more time to post more info. on the above topics, thanks.

Who is the Ghost in the Machine?

David Simpson aka ‘The Maker’ created the Illectric Sheep Community. David started out as an English teacher/consultant at universities and corporations in Asia. He has taught in Korea and presently teaches in Japan.

Feeling the weight of Japan society and desire to follow his passions David decided to create his own business.  Illectric Sheep originally started off as a music event-organizing start-up in 2006 in Osaka, Japan. It has evolved into its own brand that supports worthy social causes, independent artists, produces limited edition clothing, and offers consulting services. The name was inspired by the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick and Ridley Scott’s classic movie, Blade Runner.

Shortly after graduating with a business degree in Canada, he decided that he didn’t want to be stuck in an office cubicle doing mind-numbing paperwork. So in 1997 he packed up and went overseas to teach English for a year in Asia. However, it’s been over a decade and the journey continues. David has explored South East Asia, China, Australia, the Caribbean, Europe, and South America. He still loves traveling the globe and also enjoys watching making movies and documentary films.
